Earned a bachelor’s degree in economic finances and information technology management and a master’s degree in city and regional planning from the University of California, Berkeley. Working as an ADA programs division manager for the City of Oakland, CA.
Paraplegia
Earned a bachelor’s degree in molecular Ìýand cellular biology from the University of Arizona and a medical degree from Stanford University. Works as an internal medicine resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Received a DO-IT Trailblazer award in 2004. Competitor in wheelchair racing events, including the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
Hearing impairment
Graduated magna cum laude with a degree in graphic communications and emphasis in multimedia from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. Works at Daktronics as a web/ system administrator. Married and is blessed to be the father to two adopted twins. Enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, fishing and taking pictures of nature—even storms!
